Sean 'Diddy' Combs was arrested Monday in New York on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
He appeared in a Manhattan court and was denied bail after a $50m bail bid, remaining in custody while awaiting trial.
The charges in the indictment date back to 2008, and involve orchestrated 'freak off' sex parties.
Prosecutors, who argued that Combs poses a "serious risk of flight," allege the use of drugs, male prostitutes and violence to control victims.
Authorities seized freak-off supplies like over 1 000 bottles of lubricant as well as narcotics and firearms with their serial numbers scratched off from Combs' homes.
Combs' defense has claimed the record executive's innocence, labeling the charges as baseless.
Multiple victims have reported years of sexual and physical abuse by Combs, with US attorney Damian Williams (pictured) telling a Tuesday press conference that investigations are ongoing.
