“Nasty But Accurate”: Raunchy Ad Slams MAGA, Republicans For Screwing Over The Working Class
A graphic new advert circulating on social media is gaining attention for showing a Republican congressman in a compromising position with a wealthy donor.
The 28-second clip, created by Democratic Super PAC Progress Action Fund, starts by showing two utility workers complaining about their taxes.
“Bro, I just paid my taxes. So expensive,” one says.

The other replies: “I know, tell me about it.”
As they open the door to a computer servicing room, groaning can be heard, and the camera pans down to a Republican congressman on his knees “servicing” a wealthy donor.
“I’m fundraising for re-election and servicing my sugar daddy and lowering his taxes,” he tells the workers.
One replies: “You said you were going to lower our taxes, man.”
“Sorry, you didn’t give me any money. Now, if you’ll excuse me, daddy paid for full service, and I’m always a good boy for him.”

The congressman then turns back around and makes a ‘hawk tuah’ sound—a reference to a video clip that went viral last year.
Hawk tuah became a viral catchphrase when Haliey Welch was stopped for a street interview in Nashville and used the term.
She was asked: “What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?”
“You gotta give ‘em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang,” Welch replied.
Conservative commentator Alec Lace came under fire last year for describing Kamala Harris as the “original hawk tuah girl” on Fox News.
Now the tide has turned.
This is EXACTLY the kind of ad that Democrats need to be running.
We can’t just tell people how corrupt Republicans in Congress are.
We have to shove it in their faces. #MAGABlowingYourTaxes#USDemocracy#Voices4Victorypic.twitter.com/GOTdVuMR3S

The ad, which has been described as “nasty but accurate,” was created to target young men aged between 18-29 who originally supported President Donald Trump but have now become disillusioned by economic policies favoring the wealthy.
“The ad meets the demo, which is not watching MSNBC, not watching CPAN,” Progress Action Fund founder Joe Jacobson told TheDaily Beast.
This type of content is what his target demographic are consuming, Jacobson added, and it opened up a conversation for him to discuss Democratic policies on tax.

“Even with the moderates and people who are apolitical, they’re like, ‘Ick it’s true, and this is why I hate politics. Because they’re subservient,’” he said.
“You’re competing against Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stuff. You’re competing against Lebron. You’re competing against Love Is Blind.
“You’re not in a sterile lab in the real world. Mormon wives is much more interesting than anything any [ad writer] can come up with.”
An Economist/YouGov America poll released last week shows that Trump’s popularity among voters aged 18-29 has dropped from +5 to -29, a decrease of 34 points.
Republicans are currently discussing higher tax rates for the wealthy to help fund Trump’s party-line package, NBC reports.
The Progress Action Fund advert has not been endorsed by any Democratic candidates.
